DELICIOUS gluten-free pizza! We visit Plymouth every year and go to the stable every time as a safe place for me to eat! The pizza is always so good and they also have vegan cheese too if you want it! They served my pizza with a different colour pizza slicer so it’s clear mine is gluten free! Not sure if this restaurant is celiac safe, but definitely have gluten free/ lactose free and vegetarian/ vegan options! Call ahead if you have any concerns, the staff were really helpful and knowledgable! The only down side is that the gluten free pizza is smaller than a gluten base pizza, but the same price which is a shame - but still pleased they don’t charge extra for gluten free like a lot of places do. There was quite a long wait on food, but it is delicious when it arrives! You can also order some starters which came out quickly which is what we did whilst we waited for the mains! Last visited: May 2025 (photo is from this visit. My Gf pizza on the left and my partners gluten pizza on the right).
The pizzas and desserts were very tasty, I went for a BBQ base Feelin’ Clucky. There was 6 of us and we all had a different pizza, everyone enjoyed theirs. The lady serving was also very friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was nice and laid back with a great view of the Barbican.
We had a great time doing a bottomless brunch here. Our waiter was Benji who was brilliant. Great food, great drinks. It was so much food for the price we paid! Will definitely be visiting again.
Found this place while visiting my son in Plymouth. It was a lovely summers evening and Spoons wasn't going to cut it tonight. Saw the Stable, fancied pizza and glad we walked in. Sat outside on a nice shaded terrace, beautiful view of the harbour. Tried the Harbour single fin lager and son had the raspberry cider which was good. Really light and refreshing. Ordered the "meat is on" pizza, son ordered the pepperoni. 2 huge crispy pizzas turned up and they were both fantastic. Best pizza I've eaten in a while. Crispy thin base, loads of toppings. One pizza is enough for 2. It's hard to find a decent restaurant that does one thing really good and this place does it. They also do tater tots . Excellent staff, great service. Will be back next time I'm in town.
Fab service, ciders and food. We had the pizzas, which are Huge and soooo delicious! Best pizza ever. We shared rocket man and our son had chicken clucky one. Service was efficient and very friendly. Ciders are delicious too. After we’d eaten we sat outside on top terrace, lovely views over the harbour, even in September it was ok. We’ll be back when visiting son again.
Seated outside with a view of the harbour. Good range of drinks. We did wait slightly longer than you'd expect but the food was cooked to order and definitely worth the wait. We order via a QR code on our table, the drinks were brought to us very quickly. Will go again when I'm in the area.
Lovely setting on the Barbican - with great views in the outside area. They have loads of options for cider, and the staff were nice. Prices are a bit higher, but I wish I'd known about their Saturday brunch deal earlier - book in advance
Fantastic pizzas and nice location. We had the ham and pineapple (with optional chilli flakes) and it was delicious: a hang over cure. The base was very thin and light, but was also filling.
